Ludwig van Beethoven. Torso. Bronze, patinated, monogram "MK" and foundry's signature: AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT: GLADENBECK BERLIN-FRIEDRICHSHAGEN. Cream white and black marble base. Bronze surface worn.

Reduction of the torso of Max Klinger's main work, completed in 1902 (today: Bildermuseum Leipzig), shown for the first time in the "Vienna Secession".
